Building the Bench(es)

We’ve been building Bill’s Bus Benches for several months now, and we talk about this quite a bit. Strong Town Metro MKE has its hands in a number of things, but this has been our first get-our-hands-dirty project, in which we intend to make good use of a grant received from America Walks and hopefully make the day of MCTS riders go just a little bit easier.

That’s one of the principles of Strong Towns. Humbly take note where people struggle and figure out ways we can pool our efforts to help. The goal is to build about 100 of these in Milwaukee County over the next year or so.
